The Graduate Qualifying Exam in English Language Arts must be taken and passed by all students in Indiana as a prerequisite to high school graduation. This manual prepares test takers with test-taking advice, a diagnostic test, extensive subject review, practice questions, and two full-length practice tests with answers. The Language Arts Exam is given in two parts, on successive days. Part I: Reading . consists of passages for reading comprehension, followed by multiple-choice questions . Part II: Writing . consists of an essay question plus additional reading comprehension questions that require brief written responses.
